National Cadet Corps
| The college has men and women wing of the NCC engaged in grooming the youth into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The NCC aims |
| 1. To develop character, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and the ideals of selfless service amongst the youth of the country. |
| 2. To create a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life and be always available for the service of the Nation. |
| 3. To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the Armed Forces. |
| The NCC units have sent its representatives to the RD parade, thalseva camps, adventure programmes and youth exchange programmes to foreign countries. |
National Service Scheme
National Service Scheme (NSS) aims at arousing social consciousness of the youth with an overall objective of personality development of the students through community service. There are four NSS units in the college which foster social commitment and civic responsibility through various activities. The NSS units of the college were adjudged as the Best Unit of the Kerala University twice and one programme officer twice adjudged as the Best Programme officer. Volunteers have participated in RD parades and many National level camps.
College Union
College union forms part of student activities. All regular students are members of the union. The college union aims |

| The union shall be subject to the rules and regulations in force in the college as well as notified by the principal from time to time. |

Counselling, Career Guidance and Placement cell
The cell enables placement in reputed organizations through campus interviews. Providing information about the opportunities, arranging orientation classes to the aspirants and facilitating campus recruitments.
Internal Quality Assurance Cell
Following the guidelines of the NAAC, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was formed as a post accreditation measure for sustenance and enhancement of quality. The IQAC started functioning in the college interacting with the already existing organization. Evaluating the strengths and weaknesses, IQAC makes proposals and formulate procedures to ensure continuous improvement in the entire operations of the
Other Activities
All activities are organized and implemented through various committees/ clubs. Apart from the above mentioned, there are committees to look into religious activities, student affairs, student attendance, college examinations, research activities, UGC affairs, library, students aid fund, scholarship & endowment, computer education, nature and horticulture club, infrastructure and facilities, PTA and theAlumni association,Continuing Education etc
Extension activities
In order to do justice to its commitment of service to the society Bishop Moore College has started a community and Counselling centre. The Center envisages the active involvement of the student community also in service oriented programmes along with their academic pursuits. Awareness building is to be the first step. As a beginning, Bishop Moore College has already adopted 8 Lower Primary Schools in the locality .The college conducts special camps for the students, staff and parents. Schemes for the total development of these underprivileged institutions are being launched.
Healthy Practices
The college imparts value based education. Personal attention and guidance are given to the students. The warden system plays an important role in maintaining good student- teacher relationship.Every Friday fourth hour in the FN session is the student hour,an open house for the students.Principal interacts with the prefects in the prefects council held regularly on a every Monday. |
| Identifying the need for improving communication skills in English, special sessions are arranged for spoken English by interacting with the Young Adult Volunteer who visits the College. |
| Financially weaker students are provided with free study materials, subject to availability. In addition to the various scholarships, the college provides free noon meal for deserving students. |
| The health care programme targets all the students. Group activities like celebrations and competitions help build up trust and make relations stronger. The students are encouraged to participate in extra curricular activities like NCC, NSS,Eco club etc. |
